Fort William Historical Park has a vast archive of digital video clips depicting life in 1815 at the World’s Largest Fur Trade Post. We also have clips of the many colourful modern celebrations that the Fort hosts every year to entertain and educate our visitors. The Fort’s collection of digital video clips will soon be expanded through our involvement in a number of exciting High Definition video projects. Once completed, this new medium will be an integral part of our video library and increase the range of choices for discovering more about one of the world’s leading heritage sites. Fort William Historical Park not only produces its own digital video products, such as the Fort William Diaries, but it is also the focus of many television segments and motion picture productions. Visit our On Location section to learn more about Fort William on the big screen. These film productions, combined with the Fort’s video collection, have created a rich body of work that offers fascinating glimpses into events that shaped North America’s history.
